Xray spine: You might be surprised.... A 4 view x-ray of the spine (front-back, side view, and two bending views for example), pays... $17 dollars from medicare/insuarance. Many patients think we make all this money with taking x-rays, but in-fact, it costs us money to employ a technician and have a machine, as the reimbursement doesn't cover those costs! negotiate with your imaging place!
