Simply ask!: These test are usually done thru a genetics consult which i would hope you have availed yourself of already. The genetics md can easily determine your question. Unfortunately, not much can be predicted as to the clinical difference between mosaic and non-mosaic since it depends on the extent of the mosaic. Hi doctors! I had what I believe you said was tinnitus--sound of childs squeeze toy inside my right ear. The noise has subsided. I had an MRI of the skull base and brain--would that MRI show an acoustic neuroma if I had one? What else causes tinnitus?
