About

Bio

Dr. Long has been in clinical practice over 14 years and began practicing in January of 2000. He has extensive experience in Primary and Urgent Care Pediatrics along with psychiatry experience focusing on common problems in children. Dr. Long is Board Certified in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. He designed and built one of the most successful and popular practices in the Kennesaw area. We maintain a simple philosophy, we treat each parent, patient, and employee as if they were our own family. We do so in a state of the are facility that manages to incorporate the latest recommended technology as medicine grows so much more complex, yet we try to retain the hometown charm feel. Our docs and staff are often speaking to mother's groups, attending community events to support our home town, and even have a worldwide outreach program trying to improve the pediatric care for kids worldwide. Each year he and he team of pediatrician are recognized by Health-grades, vitals.com, BlueCross Blue Shield, and regularly receives multiple awards for "real" sources vetted by 100s of happy parent reviews. <table><tbody><tr><td></td><td><strong>On-Time Physician Award</strong> ( 2009 )</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table><table><tbody><tr><td></td><td><strong>Compassionate Doctor Recognition</strong> (2010 - 2011)</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table><table><tbody><tr><td></td><td><strong>Patients' Choice ward</strong> (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011)</td><td> </td></tr></tbody></table>

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
