Check with dentist: You must distinguish between chipping, breaking of fillings, or fracturing of tooth. Most chipping occur as the occlusion is not as optimal and tooth interference occasionally cause chipping. Breaking of filling may be due to occlusion or faulty restoration. Fracturing of tooth (continuously) may be a serious problem of dentinogenesis imperfecta.

Identify the cause: Teeth can begin to wear and break for a number of reasons. It could be to occlusion, some oral habit, or some environmental factor. The best way to address tg, problem is to identify the cause. Seeing a dentist will help you do that and also provide you with options for hopefully addressing the problem. There must be something going on to cause the break down. Best of luck!

Multiple reasons: There are many reasons teeth break and they include damage from your bite, medications taken, old dental work, and some genetic factors. A dentist will get a thorough health history and can help you determine both a cause and a solution.
