Possible: It is possible to have a blighted ovum with normal to high levels of hcg. Best way to diagnose blighted ovum vs. Viable pregnancy in early pregnancy is with transvaginal ultrasound. Fetal heart activity can usually be identified on transvaginal ultrasound by 6-6.5 weeks estimated gestational age.

What did uer OB say?: What is your Progesterone level, a high one is good a low one is not good, should be able to see a sac at 5 weeks and should be able to see a ht beat sometimes at 6 weeks depending on the person and theus machine but definitely by 6 1/2 - 7 weeks.
