Might be TMJ: Check and see if you can open wide enough to place 3 fingers vertically between your front teeth, or is there noise when you open/close. All of these might be signs you have a bite related problem. Also check where you have the migraine. If it is a muscle you need to find out why the muscle is becoming sore. Check with your dentist or someone who treats these type of problems or your ent.

? migraine: Very often we see migraines misdiagnosed. It may be a jaw/bite/joint/muscle problem. If the area that is sore is a muscle you may wish to see a dentist who treats TMJ problems conservatively with a splint and physical therapy. Palpate the sore region and see if it is a muscle. Also check to be sure there is no clicking or popping as that is a sign of a TMJ issue as well.
