???: If by meg, you mean magnetoencephalography, this test is not usually done to evaluate for a pinched nerve (usually done for seizures), and a cost comparison is irrelevant. If there is concern for a pinched nerve in the neck or back, MRI without contrast would be the best test to find the source of the pinched nerve. Good luck!

EMG?: I think you may mean emg. They are not tests that tell you the same thing. So you can't really compare them that way. The MRI will tell you where the problems are anatomically. The EMG gives more physiologic information.
