Can mri with contrast detect nerves and whether they are blocked, pinched or not?

In some cases, yes: If nerve is large enough, can be seen, such as optic nerve, trigeminal nerve, facial nerve. Contrast can assist with concern of inflammation, and often we can see a compression. Worthwhile to look if questions emerge/
