A member asked:

Can my cervical spine mri without contrast show a pinched nerve?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely: While not all mris are of the same quality, in general they are used to determine if there is a pinched or compressed nerve or spinal cord in the cervical spine. Constrast is used only in special circumstances.
