Will sciatic nerve impingment show up on a back mri without contrast? been in pain for 10months dr only treating with pt.backs gone out 5 times since.

It might: It depends on where the sciatic nerve is pinched. If it is pinched in the back, MRI might show it. If it is affected somewhere else along its course, it won't.

Yes: Mri shows nerve impingement without contrast in the un-operated back. You also need standing flexion/extension x-rays of the low back.
