Very rare: Ossifying fibroma, also known as osteofibrous dysplasia, is a benign fibrous tumor with local aggressive behavior. Ossifying fibroma does not metastasize. It's very rare. I'd make sure that the people making that diagnosis really know what they are talking about and would consider a 2nd opinion if you're not already seeing a bone tumor expert.
