I was wondering i had a brain mri done but what can they see on a brain mri? do they see infections and tumors and iq and stuff like that or old bleedings or tia's or brain infarction?

Many things: Several things can be seen, mainly that would have to do with the appearance of the Brain, such as possible infections, tumors, inflammation, old infarctions, etc. BUT not the IQ.

Can't see IQ: A brain MRI can visualize many different illnesses, including tumors, bleeding, strokes, etc. IQ is not an illness and cannot be determined on MRI
