Echo and angiogram: First and foremost, a complete history and physical exam. Likely, an us of the legs to exclude a blood clot as well as blood work to look for a clotting abnormality would be next. Then, an echocardiogram and some type of imaging of the vessels in the neck and head. Since the patient is pregnant, an mra would likely be best.
