my left lower leg itches a lot. the itching sometimes can get quite discomforting and i have to scratch it. the skin is becoming darker than the rest of the leg and i can see somewhat dark lines under the skin.

Leg itch: Perhaps your trousers or jeans have something to do with the itch. Dry skin is another cause. Applying a corticosteroid ointment should relieve the itching. To improve dry skin use a moisturizer. See your physician or a dermatologist if you still have concerns.
