Travel Clinic: Be sure to get set up to see a doctor that specializes in travel medicine or infectious diseases prior to your trip. They can review the recommendations for travelers to thailand and ensure vaccinations are up to date. A good resource you can read prior to your doctor's visit is from the cdc: http://wwwnc.Cdc.Gov/travel/destinations/thailand.Htm travel safe.

Vaccines: Be up-to-date with routine shots, such as measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT) vaccine, poliovirus vaccine, etc. Recommendations are country specific and for thailand, you need hepatitis a, hep. B and typhoid. See your local travel clinic.
