What's considered to be a high temperature ? is a womans temperature higher in early pregnancy?

100.3: Most consider 100.3 (38 c) to be a fever. If your temperature is above that and you are pregnant you should be seen by your doctor. I am wondering why you are checking you temperature unless you already know that you are sick?
