Analyse risk/benefit: Lipomas are benign growths, and they can recur. So without surgical removal the risk is for diagnosis (are the lumps something else more ominous), pain, discomfort, and appearance issues. The surgical risk for removal is expense, recovery and recurrence. If you want removal, then okay to ask for surgical consult and discuss your risk/benefit analysis.

It is soft and squishy on the left side. I've had it about a year in a half. It moves easily. Lipomas run in my family so I haven't been to the doctor. Sometimes when I lay on that side I'll feel it shift. It's about the size of a grape.
Would lipodissolve remove my lipoma? I have had a lipoma in my underarm for a few years. The doctor has wanted me to have it removed but I have not wanted to have the surgery. Would lipodissolve be a non-surgical solution for this problem?
