Possibly: Scarring is always a risk with laser tattoo removal. A raised scar indicates a type of scarring called hypertrophic scarring and may require treatment with topical or injectable steroids to improve the appearance and flatten the raised area of the scar.

If you are being: treated by an MD and they are board certified and members of the American Society for laser Medicine and surgery, then likely they will be able to treat any burns or scars produced by laser
