Yes, headaches are quite complex and many times categorized on specific features. Sometimes easy to find the culprit on detailed history and exam, some other times quite impossible. Start with your primary care doc, keep track of your episodes, try not to self-diagnose.

Headaches are indeed common and most folks will have at least one in their lifetime. The most frequent include migraine and tension headaches, but multiple triggers can provoke the episodes. Your primary care doctor would be best starting point, and neurology getting involved if recalcitrant.
