Don't watch scale: This is a common issue. You will probably not see a change in the scale if you are toning and doing variety of exercises. Your body is building muscle. The best advice is to get a cloth tape and measure yourself. Do this every 6 weeks - and let that be your guide of success. The scale is the enemy.

A/W Dr. Saunders: Building muscle and losing fat is definitely heading in the right direction. Remember that as you add the muscle that you will be increasing your metabolic rate. Remember - the scales don't tell the whole story. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Adding muscles: Will neutralize weight loss from reduced calories and exercise. Muscle weights more than fat but fat occupies more space hence the question is are losing any inches or are your clothes feeling more loose, if yes then you are on the right path to good health
