Try ibuprofen: If your periods are regular, try starting Ibuprofen or Naproxen a day or two before your period is supposed to start, and continue it for the first few days of your period. If that isn't helpful, see your doctor. Sometimes birth control pills can help. Sometimes you may need to have more testing done to see if it may be due to something like endometriosis.
