Options: The best answer is medically supervised weight loss programs. If that fails surgery is an option. The most current procedures are lap band ( reversible), roux-en y gastric bypass. And gastric sleeve procedure. The last two combine the effect of decreased gastric size as well as malabsorption and are typically not reversable.

Liposuction: Liposuction is the procedure to reduce unwanted or excess fatty tissue. Check out your local plastic surgeons for consultation. Being that liposuction is considered cosmetic, it is not covered by health insurance plans.
