Probably not.: Hemoglobin is the molecule in the red blood cells that carries oxygen to our body's tissues. It can be low because we aren't making enough hemoglobin (as in iron deficiency), or when we are losing blood somehow (heavy periods, bleeding from the bowel, etc.). Maybe/indirect?: Stress, by itself doesn't lead to low hemoglobin levels. Having said this, stress can do many things indirectly, like raise blood pressure, and possibly alter hormones that can have an indirect effect on the blood, and so change concentration of things like neutrophils, lymphocytes, as well as hemoglobin.
