Leukopenia: 30 year old woman with leukopenia. Past medical history unknown, on OCP and multivitamin+iron. Lists dizziness, fatigue, nipple tingling. You need a full exam with these symptoms. It would be reasonable to include a differential in your CBC and look at a thyroid panel, HIV test, and get a full physical +breast exam. Knowing your family history and a review of systems to determine wait/see vs tests

Likely nothing: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your WBC may be your normal. There is no point in treating laboratory values. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
