Other causes: Halitosis certainly can come from plaque accumulation. However it can also come from sinus problems and post nasal drip as well as from stomach problems. If your oral hygiene is good you should investigate other causes.

Make sure you: Are also brushing your tongue am and pm. Good products to look at are dr tung (brush and gel) and smart mouthwash - both available otc. I hope this helps. All the best.

Gum bleeding: Halitosis caused from GI problems and oral problems. Orally, it caused by bleeding gums, food impaction, and oral infection. Correct treatment would address these etiologies.
