Worried: Skin cancer mainly melanoma is well known to spread to other part of. The body, some times other skin cancer can also do same. Either way your father needs a thorough check up urgently.

Can be serious: The first question would be to find out if your dad has melanoma. If so, then these symptoms absolutely need to be evaluated asap by a doctor. Melanoma can spread to just about any organ including the brain, bones, liver, and lungs.

Maybe: A rare form of skin cancer is melanoma and can spread to anywhere including bones and brain. This needs to be evaluated to insure these signs and symptoms are not related.
