If someone has vp shunt, are the ventricles suppose to be normal size?

Ventricle size: A vp shunt will allow for normalization of intracranial pressure. Depending on the elasticity of the ventricles, size may normalize, stay large, or become small (slit). The ventricle size is not as important as the pressure.

Pressure Normalizes: Size may remain as was beforehand the goal, is to prevent high pressure and damage. Slight decrease from reduced pressure may be seen on ct.
