5-7 fruits and vegg: Start with trying to have 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Try not to fry the vegetables or soak them in oil. Exercise- means be active most days of the week. If youre not active now, you can start by going for a 10 minute walk most days of the week and increase as tolerated. Try to avoid fried foods, fatty foods and fast foods, be aware of portion sizes, share a meal when you eat out.
