May be normal bone: If it's at the very back of your head, directly in the midline, it's probably a normal bony lump called the external occipital protuberance. Sometimes it takes people many years to discover they have this. If it's clearly to the right or left it may be a lymph node, and if getting bigger, should be checked out.
