Go back to doc: If you still have throbbing pressure and headache, your infection may not have resolved. Headaches are not so common with ear infections, unless it's the same type of headache you have gotten many times in the past, so you should be sure to see your doctor again.

Serous otitis: You may have fluid in your ears following your infection. You should se an ENT specialist if you're having such severe symptoms.
