Yes...: A biopsy will almost always cause some pain, though temporary (normally days, depending on the location of the biopsy). If someone is having pain from a biopsy several days/week/months (!) afterwards, then this is not a normal reaction.

Yes: Must be temporary swelling related. If does not get better could be infection. For the first some anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen should help. For infection you must see your doctor.
