No comparison: Deplin works in adjunct with antidepressant to increase availability of antidepressant in your brain . 5htp is different.

No: Deplin is Folic Acid which has been shown to help antidepressants work better. There are no data to support its use alone for depression. 5 htp is a serotonin precursor which may help with mild depression.
