Probably not: The GFR estimated on a routine blood draw is a crude number and many pathologists and nephrologists think it should not be done, as it causes a great deal of needless alarm. For example, i'm a well-muscled, meat-eating man and run high BUN and creatinine in health; a beancounter might look at my numbers and warn of "possible" kidney disease that is not clearly not present. Your doctor can advise.
