Med vs Surg TX : Your options are medical treatment (oral contraceptives for a month or two) or surgery, but that depends if you are at risk for ovarian torsion which increases the larger it is (>5cm) and more painful it is. Typically an us can tell the difference. It will take you a couple of months to recover for ivf.
