Hello i'm 39 and will be attempting ivf but i have chocolate cyst that have recently burst, is ivf a waste of time. will if effect my chances at preg.

You have 2 ovaries: You do have two ovaries, and even if the chocolate cyst ovary was due to Endometriosis, there is a possibility that the other ovary is unaffected for ovarian egg harvesting.(IVF) However, Endometriosis is a blessing and a curse. The curse is that it decreases the ability to conceive naturally. The blessing is that this is the reason that IVF has allowed many women to conceive with Endometriosis.
