Ask for specifics: The ovary can occasionally follow the same path as a male testis & end up as a lump in the labia (since there is nowhere to go). You need to ask mum if this is what they found, or was it something else.They might have simply removed it, leaving the other structures alone. That would explain your issues, but again, ask.
