Timing needs: The rash of scarlatina will occur within 12-18 hours of the establishment of the rash causing strain of strep a . You have an estimated 9 days from first fever to begin abx treatment and still be in time to avoid progression to the systemic illness known as rheumatic fever, heart or CNS complications.It is not clear if early rx ever stops the occasional kidney issue with strep, ur ok.
