Suspect carpal tunne: Suspect carpal tunnel if palmer surface involving thumb first second and thumb side of ring finger. Commonly aggravated when sleeping do to natural position of hands. Slightly flexed at wrist.. See your doctor to confirm initial management is splints and possible steroid injection wrist. Can be initiated by thyroid disease so blood test appropriate. If no improvement then surgical intervention.
