See your doctor: If you are hurting after an epidural you might want to see the doctor who performed this. Was your epidural for labor and delivery or was it due to lumbar radiculopathy? If you were already hurting on your thigh even before this procedure, the effects of epidural steroids are not always immediate. But if this symptom is new then have it checked immediately by your physician.

Radicular pain: If you had an epidural steroid injection, most likely it was for a lumbar disk herniation that caused radiating pain. Sometimes, after an epidural, you can have worsening of that radiating or "radicular" pain. I would call and follow up with the doctor who did the injection. If there is any weakness, loss of sensation, bowel or bladder changes, contact your doctor immediately.
