Infant with UTI: If there has been a dramatic decrease in urine output in your infant over the last 12-24 hours, it is best to err on the side of caution and have him/ her evaluated for possible partial obstruction or other cause of the oliguria. Sometimes simple dehydration can be the culprit, but it is best to get a local professional opinion.

Check w/MD1st: Call his doc or doc on call.Give them a chance to answer. Is this expected for your child? Don't wait longer than an hour for response, though while giving plenty of breast milk, formula or pedialyte. If he's feverish, vomiting or irritable, though, put in the call, then take cell phone/baby to er. They may divert you to office but at least you'll be dressed & in motion.
