If UTI: nothing to worry about as it is not sexually transmitted. If a STD, I would recommend having your BF get tested/treated. Best of luck!

I have UTI from last yr october an it won't go my gyno gave me cipro (ciprofloxacin) caz my urine culture say ecoli .My urine still look foamy .He told me if cipro (ciprofloxacin) no work he will give me a low antibiotic for mths.

Does taking 1 does of antibiotic before using sample mess up a urine culture? Was prescribed Macrobid for UTI symptoms, gave sample 10 hours later. Culture results show no evidence of UTI. I still have some symptoms like irritation and freq urination?
