I have stitches in my pinky toe due to a recent surgery. my doctor said i can take a shower but do i leave the bandaid on or off?

Usually, you do: Not want the sutures to get wet. There are shower protectors available. Yu didn't say how much time elapsed from the surgery or if the wound site was small or large. I.E if 1-2 stitches its really not a big deal. Assuming, indeed you can get it wet, i would recommend keeping the bandage on and immediately after the shower to remove, dry he area and replace.

Leave bandaid: You can shower with the bandaid on if your doctor said it was ok when you are dry take the bandaid off and put a clean dry bandaid on the wound.
