Maybe yes, maybe no.: More important than availability is the training of the doctor. Search for a doctor who is mature, experienced and has a reputation for being extraordinarily careful and comprehensive (compulsive) in their care of the patient. The doctor should maintain a focus on the patient. An internist or family physician or an internist/oncologist should be a good bet.

It might be...: Concierge practices offer patients special services - usually more direct access to their doctors - than do more traditional practices. You must pay a concierge practice fee, however, and these can vary widely. There are many good doctors who have not moved to the concierge model, so it may be worth it to keep looking for a better match if you haven't found it so far.

Concierge : That could be a good reason. Anyone who is willing to pay for the luxury of being one of a much smaller number of patients a concierge doctor would see, could enjoy it. Concierge patients usually get easier access to the doctor and longer visits, too.
