A member asked:

My dad was diagnosed tia, and doc said there is pus identified in his urine.. we asked the doc and said it was the effect of the high choles. & stroke?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confused: I am confused. But, the TIA is likely the effect of high cholesterol. The urine infection (with pus) is independent. However, the immune response to the infection may trigger events leading to a tia. But high cholesterol and stroke/tia do not cause or lead to urine infections.
