This sounds: Completely completely normal...May be referring to your hr (max is 220- age).

Talk to your doctor: If you are indicating that you were getting a treadmill stress test, screening for heart disease... Then yes it would be normal to tell you to keep going until you couldn't go any further. A blood pressure of 144/96 is not concerning if during exercise. A hr of 138 would be concerning at rest, again during exercise would not be. I hope this helps, but from what you share, no reason to stop.
