See your doctor: You shouldn't have continued pain after passing kidney stone, it should actually improve.

Kidney stone pain: Groin pain is not uncommon with ureteral stones. Swelling however is not seen with stone passage. He should be examined for other causes of groin swelling ( hernia, lymph node enlargement etc).
