Absolutely: Neck lymph nodes are common with infection and also very commonly enlarged in lymphoma.

Yes: Any inflammatory response in an area of the body can cause swelling of lymph nodes which can be palpable as nodularities. If they persist for weeks or continue to enlarge over a similar time period, u will need to have these checked out by your md. Most of the time a cut shaving or a sore or abrasion in your scalp or dave or in your mouth can lead to swollen nodes/glands.
