A member asked:

Do doctors ever terminate relationships with patients, and if so, how common is it to do so?

Yes: If the patient rude to the office staff or physician, does not follow medical advice or does not pay office medical bills physician can discharge patient from practice after 30 days courtesy period, giving patient time to find another physician. Frequency is rare, but it does happen.
