Is it common/better for patients to refer to list of questions when seeing a doctor? do your patients look at their phone/paper notes?

Questions: We see a lot of patients who bring list it can be omg for us this could be trouble but most of the time a lot of stuff all relate to each other. Many patients just want to do a data dump on us I usually prefer to see the list and go over it myself first and then take the exam from there it make sure it easier for patient and I but if you do have a list bring it long.

Sorry for the rude question. I mean it with the purest of intent and am genuinely curious. Are doctors in the US trained to see patients as horses not zebras? Meaning when symptoms present the more common answer is usually correct. Thank you?
Isn't answering a medical question without ever seeing the patient unethical? Isn't google a better option, next to seeing a doctor in person?
How common is it for a doctor to refer a patient for speech therapy for swallowing problems if the patient has not complained of swallowing problems and never displayed them?
Does an ERCP procedure allow the doctor to see and examine a patient's liver besides other areas like the GB, common bile duct, pancreas etc?
