Dry air: Probably the most common cause of those symptoms is dry air. This is very common in cold weather. You could try a room humidifier. Also, for the nose, one of my favorite remedies is nasal saline gel. It is sold over the counter. You apply a small amount to the inside of the nose at bedtime.
